boil chana dal,masoor dal,moong dal with skin,urad dal with skin,toordal with salt,hing,turmeric and water,after soaking.
in a pan add ghee,cinnamon,cloves,shahjeera,black pepper corns,onions,fry until golden,tomato,ginger chopped,green chillies,coriander,salt,garam masala,hing,dal,boiled water[always add boiled water for dals]
tadka:ghee,red chilli pd.
tip:if the dal is thickening always add boiled water
