take sooji or bombay rawa filled in a 250 ml glass. roast the rawa in ghee-2 tsp in a pan until light brown.remove the rawa to a plate.in the same pan pour oil-1&1/2 tbsp and heat it up.now tip in mustard seeds-1&1/2 tsp,uraddal-1&1/2 tsp,chanadal-1 tsp and fry until the mustards crackle.
now add lengthwise chopped onion-1 small,tomato-1 big diced.also add green chillies-4 or 5 lengthwise slit and chopped,curry leaves-2 sprigs,ginger-1" piece finely chopped.fry until the tomato turns soft and add water-3 glasses[same glass which is used measure rawa].when the water reaches to a boilng point pour the rawa while stirring continuously otherwise lumps will be formed.cook covered.
open the lid once and add some chopped coriander and close.turn off when the rawa is cooked.it takes less than 3-4 min.this can be served with cashewnuts fried in ghee.
