RICE RAWA UPMA

wash and soak yellow moongdal-1/4 cup for 10 min.
heat oil-1 tbsp in a pan and tip in mustards-1/2 tsp,jeera-1 tsp,chanadal-1/2 tsp,uraddal-1 tsp,dry red chillis-5 broken into small pieces,curry leaves-1 sprig and fry until the mustards crackle and dal's change to a light brown.
immediately add soaked moongdal-1/4 cup,fry until smell emanates from it.then add water-2&1/4 cups,salt-1/2 tsp or according to taste.when the water starts boiling ,add rice rawa-1 cup and cover until it's cooked.
