take poha or flattened rice-1 cup and wash it once and soak in water for 2 min.squeeze out the water and put on a plate or bowl.take yam-150 g and grate it after applying oil to hands.squeeze out the water and add this to the flattened rice.also add curry leaves-1 sprig chopped,ginger -1" piece chopped,salt,green chillies-5 chopped,coriander finely chopped.mix nicely and shape this mixture in balls or flatten them like vada.deep fry.
