GONGURA DAL[SORREL LEAVES]

soak 1 cup toordal in 4 cups of water for 20 min.now add onion-1 big chopped,green chillies-4 or 5 chopped,to the dal and cook the dal seperately[not in cooker].when the dal softens little but still retains the shape add red chilli pd,turmeric,salt,gongura leaves-3-4 handfuls.let the leaves change colour.turn off.mash it lightly.
tadka:oil-3 tbsps,mustards,garlic crushed,jeera,curry leaves.

add the tadka to the mashed dal and cover for a min.
