DRUMSTICKS WITH MILK

required:drumsticks-2,oil-1 tbsp,mustard seeds-1/2 tsp,cumin seeds-1/2 tsp,curry leaves-1 sprig,onion-1 big finely chopped,turmeric pd-1 tsp,salt-according to taste,water-1&1/2 cups,red chilli pd-3/4 th tsp,milk-3/4 th cup which is boiled and in room temperature,chick pea flour or riceflour-1 tsp
method
wash and cut drumsticks in pieces.heat up a pan with oil.add mustards to the pan and after they pop,cumin seeds.let them change colour and then tip in onions,curry leaves,salt and saute for 2 min.add the drumstick pieces to the pan and fry some more until the onions start turning light brown in colour.pour water and tip in red chilli pd.cook covered on low flame until the drumsticks are soft.
mix milk with riceflour or chickpea flour.there should be no lumps.pour the milk into the pan when there is still some water left in the pan and stir.turn off before the milk splits i.e about a minute.the raw smell of the flour added should also disappear.
