CABBAGE GRAVY

required: oil-1 tbsp,cinnamon-1 small piece,onion-1 small,tomato-1 small,cabbage-1small bowl julienned,turmeric pd-2 pinches,green chillies-2,cumin seeds-1 tsp,saunf-1/4 tsp,salt-1/2 tsp,water-350 ml, coconut-1 small piece,cashews-2,roasted chanadal-1 tsp.

make a paste of green chillies,cumin seeds and saunf.also make a paste of coconut,cashews,roasted chanadal.heat a pan with oil and tip in the cinnamon,chopped onion,when the onion turns light brown add the chopped tomato.tip in the turmeric pd,green chilli paste and salt.when the tomato turns soft add the cabbage.
wait for the cabbage to turn translucent and then add water.when the water comes to a boil, tip in the cashew,coconut and roasted chanadal paste which is prepared.let this cook for 2-3 min.serve with puri and dosa.
